"As I have never seen with my eyes, colour means something different to me as it may to you. I depend on others, to define colour for me. I talk about colour with my assistant and then decide what colour or combination of colours to use depending on my experience with that colour. Blues and greens and beige colours are described to me as my trip to Cocoa Beach, where the sand squished between my toes and the water splashed against my legs. I laughed, and was content. It means a calming colour to me, summer time colours. Reds and cranberry colours are described as Christmas. I love Christmas because I spend special time with my family. I like to glaze my bowls those colours around Christmas time. The colours of my bowls are my life experiences."
